I met a gentleman named Quentin Bynoe in Trinidad in 1962. A delightful chap along with his wife. We were all at a party at the Port of Spain RAFA Club. I understood that he was involved in medicine at that time. Could this be the same man? He really was a lovely man and very helpful to all of us on the 58 Squadron RAF Detachment.
September 16th, 2015 at 3:53 pmHis wife was a WAAF, also from Trinidad, and served at Bletchley Park.
October 24th, 2015 at 2:25 pmThe correct spelling is QUINTIN. His middle name was Alexander.
He was my uncle and was the younger brother of Peter Cecil Alexander Bynoe, my father, who also flew with the RAF. He qualified as a medical practitioner after the War.
His wife was MARY-ROSE nicknamed VAL. She was born in Liverpool, England and came to Trinidad with Uncle Quintin after the War.
